The Craftsman’s Guide to Edge Decoration has only 65 pages of instructional text. Seriously? I mean it covers everything and in plenty of depth so it doesn’t actually need to be any longer but it’s not really a 100 page book. It’s a 65 page book with a lot of blank pages interleaved between. (It also has a lot of pictures but those are as helpful as the text so I’m not going to object to them.) So I think the prices being charged for it are completely outrageous.
Inter-library loan, people. Learn it, live it, love it.
