Day 1019 Let the Christmas baking commence!

Thing twenty eight: I’m grateful to King Arthur flour for making a gluten free all purpose flour!

Thing twenty nine: I’m grateful for a daughter clever enough to spot it and suggest it!

Tonight is Sugar Cookies… tomorrow night will also be Sugar Cookies- decorating them. I’m making four different shapes and since I will need 12 boxes, I need to make at least 12 of each shape. I think a double batch is in order here.

Besides Sugar Cookies, I plan to bake:

    Heath Bar Cookies
    Snickerdoodles
    Carrot Cake Cookies
    German Chocolate Cookies
    Peanut Butter Blossoms
    Shortbread
    Vanilla Cherry Cookies
    Oatmeal Cookies
    Peanut Butter Cookies
    Lemon Coolers
    Peppermint Cookies
    Touch of Gold Christmas Trees
    Almond Crescents
    Coconut Cookies

Sensibly, I’m going to start with the hard ones and work my way down to the easy ones… we’ll see how far I get! I’ll post links to the recipes as I go down the list. For now, I need to run off and cut out some more cookies, wrap up ebay auctions to mail and wrap packages.

I am planning to do Christmas cards this year- if you would like one and didn’t get one last year, leave me a screened comment or email me your address. I learned my lesson last year about trying to get out of that- it just doesn’t work and I may as well go ahead and plan for it.
