For the last week, I have been bidding on an auction on Ebay… and telling no one lest I jinx it. (Am I the only one who does that?) Saturday, two other people finally saw it (damn!) and bid on it and I was sure one or the other of them was going to spike me at the last minute while I was at work. Not that it really mattered… I’d already bid as much as I was willing to pay- even for a vintage house for Nancy. However, nobody spiked me and I actually won. I’d be more excited except I’m still a bit disbelieving and probably will be until I have it in my hot little hands so, for now, I’m rather in a quantum state- like Schrödinger’s cat or a Weeping Angel– again, is this just me?
