Royal Swirl at Replacements

A simple and delicate pink rose pattern highlighted with a band of platinum around the rim, circa 1960s. This is actually my earliest tea cup set- I got it when I was in grade school and kept it in my room to drink tea out of when I was reading. In some ways, I have slightly outgrown it because it’s a very young pattern and quite girly. I couldn’t imagine serving a man tea from this cup! Which is why it was never in the running to be my ‘good’ china- it’s too pink and flowery. It’s name is Rose, obviously, and I don’t know if Emily named it or if I did. I would serve Gypsy Love tea in this one… and possibly have turkish delight as well!
